DISCOVERING SAINT LOUIS
You’ll discover in the same trip Sally and northern Senegal. The tour includes the discovery of the Petite Côte, Dakar, the Pink Lake, Gorée Island and St. Louis, former capital of French West Africa, stop for the Aeropostale. Carriage guided tour through this charming town; you’ll be overwhelmed by its rich and colorful architectural heritage.
Day 1 - France - Dakar

Day 2 - Saly
Free day at Framissima Palm Beach ****
Day 3 - Dakar and Gorée Island
In Dakar, visit Kermel and Sandaga markets, and Soumbedioune craft center. Check boat for Gorée Island (20 min). Guided tour through the historic site and its famous "house of slaves", the Mecca of the slave trade in the nineteenth century. Free time and return late afternoon at Framissima Palm Beach, Saly.
Day 4 – Pink Lake - St. Louis
Discovery of the Pink Lake in the middle of a vast territory colonized by the Fulanis who exploit the salt (70 km). Lunch and stroll on the dunes. Going on to St. Louis. Dinner and lodging at Cap Saint-Louis Hotel (or similar).
Day 5 - Lompoul Desert
Boarding in 4x4WD vehicles for Lompoul desert. Picnic lunch on the seaside. In the afternoon, visit of fisher monger village and its smoking fish unit. Carriage ride and walk among the dunes, back in the late afternoon.
Day 6 - The Dioudj or Langue de Barbarie
by canoe on the Senegal River. Visit the National Park of Dioudj or Langue de Barbarie with a variety of aquatic bird species. Lunch. In the afternoon, discovery of St. Louis, its narrow streets and wooden balcony houses.
Day 7 - St. Louis - Sally
going back to sally. Lunch and free afternoon or optional excursions (surcharge). Dinner and lodging at Framissima Palm Beach
Day 8 - Dakar - France
Depending on departure time, transfer to airport and fly to France
